How can I request a song?

You have a few options for requesting a song:

Call the on-air line at 604-280-0945
Find the song on the Playlist and click the request button (you must be a member on the site in order to do so)
Find the song on either the Top 7 @ Seven or the Top 20 charts and click the request button

How do I listen to The Beat over the internet?

To listen to The Beat on-line, click the “Listen Now!” link at the top of the screen, or find “Listen Live” in the menu. A new window will open and the live stream should start to play.

How long do I have to wait before I can enter one of your contests again?

The waiting period to win again on The Beat 94.5 or at thebeat.com is 30 days from the date of winning, regardless of the prize and its value.

The Listen Live Player isn’t working. What should I do?

There are multiple reasons for why the player may not be working on your computer. First, make sure your computer is updated with the latest version of Flash Player. Test the player in different browser types (IE, Firefox, Chrome) to see if it works in one but not the other. There is also a link at the bottom of the player for the low-bandwidth version of the player – try that as well. If none of these troubleshooting options fix the issue and you are using a computer at your place of business, your office IT department may be able to help troubleshoot around any firewall issues.
