John Mayer admits he hasn't always been the most likable guy . . . especially when it comes to spilling secrets about his former relationships.
He says, quote, "I was just a jerk." But he adds, quote, "It's very liberating when you finally realize it's impossible to make everyone like you."

The 55th annual Grammy awards are this Sunday- and all the big music stars will be there- JT is performing, Mumford and Sons, Elton John, Taylor Swift will all be there, but the "nip slip" is not invited.
CBS sent out a written warning requesting stars not show too much flesh.
The memo says "Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack”
“Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."
