Simon Cowell says Steve Jones isn’t being fired as host of The X Factor. “There is a lot of speculation about Steve Jones leaving the show. To avoid any confusion, Steve will be hosting all of the live shows and he’s doing a great job.”
Was Snooki Arrested- Again??
Snooki was NOT arrested for drug possession yesterday. Her rep tells TMZ she may sue the Website that reported her arrest. “The report is 100% false. As Ms. Polizzi’s legal counsel is currently investigating this matter, we cannot comment any further except to assure the public and Ms. Polizzi’s fans that this story is a complete fabrication.”
Gavin DeGraw getting back on the road
Gavin DeGraw has set a date to return to the Maroon 5 / Train tour. He plans to be back on stage for the August 24th gig Columbia, Maryland. That’s a little less than two weeks away. DeGraw is still recovering from a concussion, a broken nose and some other injuries after he got beat up in New York City early Monday morning . . . then clipped by a taxi. Police still don’t have any suspects. DeGraw was alone . . . and probably a little drunk . . . when he was attacked by three guys after he left a club in Manhattan. Police don’t believe robbery was a motive in the attack, and the guys who attacked him probably didn’t even know he was famous. DeGraw himself doesn’t remember much about the incident. We’ve heard it was possible that DeGraw got into an argument with the men. But a source tells “Us Weekly”, quote, “These guys jumped him out of nowhere. It’s weird because they didn’t take anything, I think they did it for sport.”
Maddox Jolie Pitt getting ready for his first starring movie role
For some reason I didn’t see this coming. And maybe it shouldn’t be so surprising? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 10-year-old son, Maddox, has signed on to play an action hero in an upcoming Hollywood film. A source says Brad is producing the film. “The film is based on a graphic novel about the young son of a god who leaves his mountain-top home to fight monsters. Maddox lives, eats and breathes movies and comic books so Brad and Angelina thought he would be perfect for the starring role.”
Seth McFarlane to host Charlie Sheen roast
The guy behind the show Family Guy and American Dad has been hired to MC Charlie Sheen’s upcoming comedy roast. Seth MacFarlane will be master of ceremonies for The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, to be filmed in LA next month. MacFarlane says, “Charlie is a true icon with a talent that is strong and pure and concentrated into small crystals which can be smoked or eaten.” The roast is due to air on 19 September – the same night when Ashton Kutcher will make his debut as Sheen’s replacement on Two and a Half Men.

A list of the top earning hip hop stars has just been released – and at the top – the Jigga man himself – Jay Z – pulled in 38 million dollars last year – and expect that to go way up for next year with the release of this new album and this tour – So between him and Beyonce – I think they’re doing okay. They’re making ends meet.
And just to really drive home how muh money there is in the entertainment world… You know how much Simon Cowell will pull in for his first season of the X Factor? Simon Cowell will make $75 million per season for “The X Factor” on Fox. Judge Paula Abdul will earn $2.5 million per season.

People who say that Paris Hilton is no longer relevant can kiss her … latest paycheck! She was get this – just paid 1 million dollars to show up at a party in Cannes.
She brought her sister Nicky with her – that was part of the deal – they were paid 1 million dollars each!!
I guess while they were on vacation in the south of france they heard that a certain “Middle Eastern princess” was dying for them to show up at her 16th birthday party.

George Clooney is moving on from Elizabetta. They dating for a couple of years , but broke up recently – and he’s not wasting any time. Because if you look that good – I mean why would you? Lamar Odom involved in crash that killed a 15 year old boy
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian were in NY on the weekend and he was being driven in a vehicle when the vehicle collided with a motorcycle and then hit a 15 year-old boy. Odom was not seriously injured, but that 15 year old boy was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and has now died. Lamar Odom apparently taking it really hard – as anyone would. He tweeted yesterday his thoughts and prayers were with the family.
Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey get married
Vanessa Minillo and Nick Lachey got married on Friday in front of 35 guests and a bunch of television cameras. They wanted it to be small and intimate and gave each of their guests plane tickets – they didn’t know where they were going until they got to the airport. They ended up saying I DO on a small island in the British Virgin Islands and she looked beautiful in a gown by Monique Lhuillier. He was wearing a Dolce and Gabanna suit. Funny thing though – nick said they wanted to do the small wedding – because it was just about them and just for them – but yet TLC will be airing the ceremony and the lead up to the wedding in a television special at the end of the month.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 made the most money out of any movie on an opening weekend ever. It beat out The Dark Knight by 10 million dollars taking in 168.6 million in the States. Internationally in one weekend it made 475.6 million – that’s almost half a billion dollars!! Crazy!

New Show Fashion Star
We told you a while ago that Jessica Simpson is going to be involved with a Fashion reality show on NBC in the fall and now more details about that show. It’s going to be called Fashion Star, produced by the people that did the show Project Runway. John Varvatos who designed for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Kline before starting his own men’s line will be a judge on the show. Nicole Ritchie will also be a judge and and Elle Macpherson will host the show. So it sounds like it’s going to be like Project Runway – where they will have unknown designers compete in different challenges but this time, the focus won’t be only on high end women’s fashions.

We’ve heard this rumor for a while now – but it’s back and now tabloids are reporting that Britney Spears’ 30th birthday party may also be her engagement party. A source says, “Britney is excited about her 30th and what she expects might be a big change of life for her. Adele hits Vancouver August 9th
Adele has got the all clear to start performing again. She was diagnosed with pretty severe laryngitis a while back and doctors told her that she would have to rest her voice – no singing and very limited amount of talking for a month so that her vocal chords could heal properly. She’s going to now make good on all those shows she cancelled in her north American Tour – including her show in Vancouver… which will now be on August 9.
Well, this is sure to be some combination of awkward and hilarious… Charlie Sheen will subject himself to a Comedy Central Roast. He said “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while. It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.” What makes it even better is that the roast will reportedly air Sept. 19, which happens to be the same night Ashton Kutcher makes his debut on Two and a Half Men.
Lady Gaga get the keys to Taichung, Taiwan.
Lady gaga was in Taiwan over the weekend and was given the keys to the city Taichung in a special celebration. It was lady gaga day – and they had a big thing for her – with a special presentation by the mayor. They love her over there. She was told there would be about 9 thousand people there and there was more like 40 thousand who showed up.
She is going to be a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance and in an interview she was talking about her costumes and how they are a part of her. She said “If you were to ask me to remove my hat at a party, in truth it’s the emotional and physical equivalent of requesting I remove my liver.”
