Angelina Jolie received $20 million for her role in the new movie Salt making her one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, male or female.  In the action thriller, she plays a CIA agent who is accused of being a Russian spy and becomes a fugitive.  The role was originally written for Tom Cruise.
