Corey was born and raised in Surrey and currently lives in White Rock. He’s going into his second year of the radio broadcasting program at BCIT and loving every second of it. He has a love for interviewing, reporting, producing…pretty much anything where he can be in the thick of the action!

Among his many other fancies, Corey likes meeting and interacting with new people and feels right at home on The Beat Street Squad. When he isn’t helping the squad around town, he also does opping and producing for The Beat’s brother stations Teams 1040 & 1410.

Every now and then Corey does put his love for radio on the shelf. When he isn’t in the studio you can probably find him samplin the soccer pitch, eatin canollis on commercial drive, lounging on white rock beach….heck! anywhere outdoors where you can get some serious maxin done!

Corey is very upbeat, friendly and digs shooting the breeze with people on location. So if you’re around and happen to spot him, Holla!
